- Q.Do you provide assisted living services?
- A.Yes. A Registered Nurse directs our assisted living program. Services are provided according to an individual plan developed by the resident’s physician, the resident, and our staff. Charges for assisted living services are based on a point system, so a resident is charged only for the actual services received, not for a range of services.
- Q.Do you have a nurse on duty?
- A.In addition to a Licensed Practical Nurse who supervises our assisted living program, we have a 24-hour care provided by Certified or Registered Nursing Assistants.
- Q.How many meals are included in the rent?
- A.Two daily meals are included in the monthly fee, with an option to purchase the third meal.
- Q.What else does the monthly fee cover?
- A.Weekly housekeeping and linen service, 24-hour staffing and emergency communication system, evening security check, recreational and social programs, use of all amenities including our indoor swimming pool, health club and classes, scheduled transportation to doctor’s appointments and routine errands, laundry facilities, maintenance, cable TV, and all utilities except for telephone. Concierge service is available for a modest fee.
- Q.Can you accommodate special diets?
- A.We do honor requests for special diets. Individual requirements are considered and agreed upon before move-in. For residents who monitor their own diets, we also provide healthful options, an à la carte menu, and a salad bar.
- Q.Do you allow smoking?
- A.Smoking is not allowed on any Chateau campus.
- Q.Do you allow pets?
- A.Yes! We know how important pets can be and will gladly accommodate cats and dogs within limits.
