Activity Director
A friendly, upscale north-end retirement community seeks qualified full time Activity Director to manage our successful, multi-faceted activity and entertainment program. Our popular program is thoughtfully developed with ongoing input from residents, and is designed to engage the mind, body and soul. The Activity Director’s responsibilities are complimented by our comprehensive health and wellness program under the direction of our Certified Fitness Instructor.
Successful Activity Director candidate should have enthusiasm for and experience working with seniors; be open and willing to contribute fresh ideas and individual creativity to the program, while responding to input from team members and residents. Organizational and event/party planning skills are essential, as is some schedule flexibility. Industry activity coordinating experience preferred. Ideally, candidate should have some computer skills and ability to produce monthly in-house newsletter and activity calendar.
